The vintage was perfect, we had a slow maturation process and allowed the grapes to hang on the vine until late October which gave us a great balance of fruit, acidity and tannins.The aromatics deliver a unique combination of cherries, wildflowers, and sandalwood. From the first sip we are treated to the dark fruit of black raspberries and pomegranate cloaked in dried herbs, crushed stones and earth. The velvety finish is long and lingering, and brings even more complexity adding accents of white pepper, white pepper, clove, and a touch of dark chocolate.
